Our Master Class brought even to my surprise an impromptu duet of "Michael, Row The Boat Ashore" from Gloria on Autoharp and voice and Mary on guitar. Fantastic job ladies! As well as a solo from Allie Rainey on a Renaissance piece.
We had fun with our group playing on the Renaissance piece "Hey, Ho, Nobody Home" after studying about the Renaissance time period. Our piece was played as a round and was the first time for many to play a round with eight instruments and voice. We also did some rhythmic notation with the use of teoría - theory on the web - find the link on our links page. A big thanks to Mrs. Mancini for cooking on the grill for us.
This semesters Master Classes will wrap up in May so be sure to join us for some fun. Don't forget to...

Senior Supper at Northmoreland Baptist Church
March 21, 2008
What a wonderful time we had at Northmoreland Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at their Senior Supper. We had a wonderful dinner thanks to the ladies of the church who are wonderful cooks and enjoyed the fellowship of Pastor James Howell and the group in attendance. Philip played selections from his CD "Time to Pray" and gave a devotion on Matthew 7:13-29. We always look forward to visiting our friends and are looking forward to the completion of their new church building which will be completed in the next few months.
Master Class Update
March 3, 2008
What a fantastic Master Class and concert by Bill Kanengiser we had! Bill taught four students and everyone in attendance learned something from his teaching. All I can say about the concert is WOW! After the concert Bill answered questions and just hung out and talked with us all. I even think he converted Nathaniel into a Classical Guitar fan and now it's up to me to make him a Classical Guitarist. :)
The next NEPACG concert we will be attending is Friday, April 18, 2008 at 8pm. Check out the Guitar societies web NEPA Classical Guitar Society for more info as well as the Love The Arts! Calendar and Community forum.
